Come in for the plants, the coffee, good advice

Why Fernbrook
A family business that grew a little at a time
Owen and Lucia Brooks started Fernbrook in 2009 as a landscaping crew with one truck. Clients kept asking where to buy the plants we used, so in 2016 we opened a small nursery in our yard on Laurel Avenue.
The café came next, in the old greenhouse, because people stayed so long talking plants that they needed somewhere to sit. The people who grow the plants will help you choose them, and the crew that plants them is just out back.

What neighbors say
- ★★★★★
“Best breakfast spot in town, and I always leave with a plant I didn’t plan to buy. The lavender honey latte is worth the drive.”

Questions we hear most
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking right out front, with two accessible spaces by the café door. On busy Saturdays there’s more along Laurel Avenue.
Can I bring my dog?
Leashed dogs are welcome in the nursery and on the café patio, and we keep water bowls by the door. Inside the café, only service animals, because of health rules.
Are you open every day?
Yes. The garden center and café are open seven days a week, with shorter hours in January and February. Holiday closings are on our Contact page.
Come see us on Laurel Avenue
Open every day, with free parking, a play corner for kids and water bowls for dogs on the patio.
